On 7th July 2021, celebrate World Chocolate Day by making this easy recipe of chocolate pudding that can be prepared in 15 minutes with just a few ingredients that you will find lying in your kitchen. Although it needs a few hours to set, the wait is worth it as this pudding is extremely delicious. Serve this pudding to your kids and guests, and I’m sure they all will love it.

To prepare this pudding, you just need to mix sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan. Then, you need to gradually add milk and cook it on medium flame till it boils. However, do not forget to stir it constantly. At last, switch off the flame and add butter as well as vanilla extract. Mix this well and add in glass bowls. Let the pudding sit in the refrigerator for a few hours and then it is ready to be served with a garnishing of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Baking Cocoa
  • ½ Cup Cornstarch
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • 4 Cups Milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Whipped Cream (Optional)
  • Chocolate Chips (Optional)

Step

  • Step 1 :

    Take a saucepan and combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and Salt.

  • Step 2 :

    Gradually start to add milk and let it boil on medium flame. Stir and boil for about 2 more minutes.

  • Step 3 :

    Switch off the flame. Add butter and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  • Step 4 :

    Put the pudding in glass bowls and refrigerate it for 4 to 5 hours.

  • Step 5 :

    Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate chips. Chocolate pudding is now ready to be served.
