Semolina or Suji is found in every Indian kitchen and to your surprise it can be a great beauty ingredient. The best part about using this natural ingredient is that it doesn’t have any side effects. You can use this pack to get rid of the dead skin cells. This is a simple DIY solution to many of your skin issues. Follow the steps mentioned below to make and apply the suji pack.
Step 1: Collect The Ingredients
To make this suji pack you will need several ingredients which include fine suji (semolina), yoghurt, honey, and lemon juice. Collect all these ingredients in one place.
Step 2: Measure The Ingredients
Measuring the ingredients is important to ensure the consistency of the face pack. Take two tablespoons of fine suji in a bowl. Add two tablespoons of fresh plain yoghurt, one tablespoon of honey, and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Step 3: Mix The Ingredients
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl as per the measurements and mix them well to create a smooth paste. Ensure that there are no lumps in the paste, and ingredients are mixed well.
Step 4: Adjust Consistency
Depending on your preference you can adjust the consistency of the face pack by adding more yogurt or honey(benefits of honey).
Step 5: Cleanse Your Face
Before applying the face pack make sure your skin is properly cleansed. You can use a mild cleanser to clean your face and remove all the makeup and dirt particles.
Step 6: Steam Your Face
To ensure the ingredients of the face pack get absorbed in your face, you are required to open the pores. The best way to do that is by steaming the face. Boil water in a container and place your face above the steam. Cover your head to trap the steam. Do this process for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 7: Apply The Suji Pack
You can use a brush or your fingers to apply the suji pack on your face. Make sure to apply the pack evenly, avoiding the delicate area around the eyes. Gently massage the pack onto your skin in circular motions for a few minutes.
Step 8: Let It Sit
Leave the pack for 15 to 20 minutes on your skin. During this time, suji will exfoliate, yogourt will nourish, honey will moisturise and lemon (lemon for antiageing) will add a brightening effect.
