‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ Undergoes Censorship Cuts

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has requested the filmmakers to make several edits to avoid potential controversies in the film. One of the suggestions was to remove references to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Lok Sabha. Following the CBFC's recommendation, the entire scene containing these elements was cut.

Additionally, the CBFC advised the filmmakers to remove a scene set in a lingerie shop and replace the word ‘bra’ with ‘item.’ In another alteration, a cuss word was changed to ‘Behen di’ to make the film more suitable for a wider audience. Furthermore, a mention of the liquor brand 'Old Monk' was modified to 'Bold Monk.' These changes were made to ensure the film's approval for release and to prevent any potential controversies.

In case of 'Bheed,' a viral list on social media highlighted a series of edits recommended by the CBFC, including the removal of offensive language and nudity. Furthermore, pivotal scenes in the film were subjected to cuts mandated by the CBFC board.
