The festive season is all about love and cherishing the moments with friends and family. Fried to spicy, there is an array of dishes prepared on the smallest occasion, and family members gather to relish them. Amid the celebration, we cannot forget that exercise and healthy food take a back seat, which can lead to weight gain, accumulation of visceral fat, and bloating.
Hence, we spoke to Falak Hanif, nutritionist, Cloudnine Group of Hospitals, Sahakarnagar, Bengaluru, India, to help us find a way to enjoy the food and reduce belly fat and bloating simultaneously.
While reducing fat requires you to exercise and modify your diet, these morning drinks can help you with a few health ailments. Hanif said, “Health is always an important aspect of life. But there are days where we like to enjoy foods that may or may not go very well with our digestive system and result in an upset tummy or make us feel bloated which in general makes a person feel full.”
Bloating happens when our gastrointestinal tract is full of gas and air. It can make our tummy feel tight and full. A few common reasons for this issue include constipation, celiac disease, intolerance to foods, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and consumption of stale food.
