Ingredients For Masala Chai 

To make masala chai powder you will need the following ingredients: Cloves, Green Cardamom, Black peppercorns, Fennel seeds, Cinnamon, Dried Ginger powder, and Nutmeg. These spices have several benefits and contribute to overall well-being.

How To Make Masala Chai Powder?

Follow the steps to make Masala Chai Powder: 

  • Take a pan and roast all the spices for 5 minutes. 
  • Turn off the flame and let the spices cool for a while. 
  • Now blend all the ingredients (except nutmeg) and make a coarse powder. 
  • Once done, grate the nutmeg using a fine grater on top. 
  • You can also add a few strands of saffron or dried rose petals for a better colour and flavour.
  • You can store this masala chai in an airtight container for 4 months. However, always ensure to use a clean and dry spoon.  

How To Use Masala Chai Powder?

You can add ¼ teaspoon of Masala chai (types of tea) powder before boiling the milk for the tea. You can also add ginger and tulsi leaves while preparing the tea as per your taste preferences.
