Yes, just like many of you, I am that girl who can never have too many lipsticks in her beauty bag. Now and then, new lipstick formulations take over the market and I can't help but splurge on those. This time, I got my hands on the lip suede range from Defi Beauty. The suede formula claimed to feel comfortable on the lips and give the finish of a bullet lipstick. Who wouldn’t like that? I was sold! I have been using these lipsticks for a while now and here is my tried and tested review.

My Experience
Honestly, it was challenging to pick just one colour from the range so, I got myself all of them. From that perfect nude brown to pink to a light mauve to a bright red, just the set of lipsticks to meet my every mood. The lipsticks beautifully glide on the lips, the pigmentation is intense, and you won’t need a touch-up. I have worn these for hours and the lipsticks don’t feel heavy at all. You might not even feel like you are wearing a layer. Since the finish is matte, some of you might want to finish it off with a lip oil or gloss. I have tried that and the shade just shines out.

Yes, coming to the most challenging part, I did fret about removing the lipstick. Many questions popped up in my head, just because it claims to be a long-lasting formula, will it stick to my lips forever? Will it take at least two makeup-removing sessions to take it off? Well, thankfully, no. The suede lipsticks, though long-lasting, don't dry out and stick. The easiest way to take it off is by using some micellar water or cleaning cream on a cotton pad and swiping it off the lips.
Speaking of the price point, for the quality you get, the lipsticks are fairly priced. The payoff makes it look like any luxe lipstick. (How to choose the right lipstick for yourself)
The suede collection from Defi Beauty gets a thumbs up from me! The shades are pretty, and perfect for just any occasion, you get great quality for the price you pay and the pigmentation is intense. What else do we need?
