It is one of the biggest days for all the BTS fans as the Korean boy band is celebrating its 10th anniversary. The K-pop band made sure that they celebrate this day on a large scale despite its two members serving in the Korean military.
BTS’ ARMY is all around the world, and they are crazy behind the band. They never leave a chance to show their unconditional love, which all the members of the brand reciprocate.
Festa 2023 was announced on May 30, 2023, so that the K-pop bank can clock in 10 years since its debut with a bang. Here are five highlights of the Festa.
Special Video
BTS ARMY can see a special video released by the band in which the seven members are discussing how they would surprise their fans. It showcased how they came up with the idea of personalised messages for their die-hard lovers and some funny bloopers of the photoshoot.
The video highlights the Apobangpo and Borahae themes. Apobangpo was coined by Jungkook, and it refers to ARMY Forever, and BTS Forever. Borahae was coined by V (Kim Taehyung) who was quoted explaining the term, “Borahae means to trust the other person until the end and love each other for a long time like purple, the last colour of a rainbow.”
Take Two Released
On their 10th anniversary, one of the most special gifts that BTS members gave their fans was the release of 'Take Two', a new digital single with the vocals of all seven members. It was pre-recorded so that fans could see it during celebrations. Fans have gone gaga over the message that the Korean boy band has shared via this lovely song.

If someone wants to see how crazy the fandom of BTS is, they should visit Seoul, the capital of South Korea, which is currently decked up in purple colour. This was an ode to the 'Borahae' term.
All major landmarks in the city, including Seoul Outdoor Library in Gwanghwamun, Sejong Centre, Lotte World Tower, and Bangpo Bridge among others have been adorned in purple decorations and lighting.
In 2022, YouTube and Google rolled out an update that allowed people to see purple balloons and hearts when they would search BTS. If you click on the balloon on Google, many purple balloons would start appearing on your screen. When you click an empty balloon, it will leave a purple splash on your screen. But if you click on a balloon with a mic, you can hear a BTS member saying, “I Purple You”.
Jungkook Narrated Fireworks Show
To commemorate 10 years of BTS, Jungkook will be narrating a fireworks display. It is meant to honour all the milestones that the K-pop band has achieved over the last decade.
The ‘BTS 10th Anniversary Fireworks Show’ will be streamed live on Weverse, and it will run from 8.30-9.00 pm KST.

Special Messages From RM, Jimin, and J-Hope
BTS ARMY received special hand-written messages from Jimin, RM, and J-Hope on June 12, 2023. While J-Hope is serving in the military now, he recorded the message before.
RM recorded a heartfelt note thanking BTS fans for supporting the band for a decade. You can see what Jimin had said in his letter on a video published on the Weverse. These messages were also displayed on hoardings.

Festa 2023 was all about BTS members clicking photos and surprising fans with dynamic images showcasing their bond. These pictures are all over the internet making ARMY of the band hitting live buttons across platforms.
A person shared a video on Twitter in which an artist was working on murals of all seven members of the BTS group. The wall in front of the HYBE HQ building is an ode from fans to show how much they love the members and the band.

Other highlights from the Festa 2023 include the announcement of BTS’ Solo documentaries that people around the world would be able to enjoy. ‘Suga: Road to D-Day’ and ‘J-Hope in the Box’ will be released in cinemas on June 17, 2023. They are already available to watch on Disney+ Hoststar. As part of the Festa 2023, RM will host an event at Yeouido to interact with the fans for an hour. Even Indians will be able to see this event on Weverse.
