If you are someone who starts fretting about spending all those bucks for a cup of rich and decadent hot chocolate at a fancy cafe, this review is for you. Chilly winter days call for a cup of hot chocolate but savouring it in the comfort of our homes has never been on our minds, right? While there have been a couple of brands offering hot chocolate premixes, none could ever convince me enough. This time, when I came across an ad featuring Bevzilla hot chocolate mixes in different variants, I couldn't resist.
Bevzilla's hot chocolate is available in the original hot chocolate, cinnamon, and hazelnut flavour. I was spoiled for choice and ended up ordering all three. So, how did they turn out? Here is my detailed review.

My Experience
For me, it was a delightful indulgence. A warm hug on a winter evening in a mug. Just a spoonful of the hot chocolate powder mixed with hot milk and there I had my rich, chocolatey drink. The texture, silky smooth, the flavour, the perfect chocolate taste but a little too sweet for my taste. The easiest way to adjust the sweetness of the drink as per your taste is by changing the milk and premix ratio. Use less premix and more milk if you like your hot chocolate mild sweet.
Bevzilla's hot chocolate comes in a single pack that you might want to transfer to an airtight container or seal with a band for re-use. The packaging would have been way more user-friendly if the hot chocolate mix came in single packs or a resealable pack. Since I have my cup of hot chocolate now and then, I have transferred the pack into a clean container and every time I make myself a cup, I use a clean spoon to dig the powder out.

Even though the drink is chocolatey, you won’t get that thick consistency even if you use a lot of the hot chocolate mix. To get that thicker texture, you can always add some whipped cream or melted chocolate. The hot chocolate mix is fairly priced for the delicious beverage you get to relish at your home this winter.
Pros
- Affordable, makes a lot of hot chocolate cups
- Guilt-free indulgence with no refined sugar
- Infused with date palm jaggery
- Preservative free
- Rich chocolate flavour
- Easy to make
Cons
Hot chocolate comes in a single pack, making it difficult to reuse
